Hi, Mark here. I hope you've had a great week.

Treading water is an important skill to learn. First off, it is an essential part of water safety and personal survival. On top of that, it boosts confidence, particularly when swimming in deep water. Anything that boosts confidence can only be good!

Front Crawl Lesson Plans

Not every swimming teacher uses a lesson plan when delivering their lessons, but teachers that are new to the job might find a ready-made plan a valuable time-saver. Maybe some established swimming teachers will find lesson plans a refreshing change?

I have put together a printable download that contains a sequence of 5 front crawl lesson plans. Each lesson teaches a part of the stroke, starting with body position and working through to the timing and coordination. Remember to use your professional judgement to adapt the plans to your pupils, swimming pool and lesson timing. Click the link below to download them. I hope you find them really useful.

That's it for this week. Take care and stay safe.

Happy swimming!

Cheers

Mark
